Sophie Weiss has an established career spanning musical theatre, TV and voice-over. She is also a passionate and well regarded vocal coach.

Sophie graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Performing Arts after receiving her A.MUS.A on the piano at 16 years of age.

She is thrilled to be joining the Australian cast of Frozen (Disney) covering the role of Elsa and joining the ensemble in 2020.

 

Most recently Sophie toured Australia, China and New Zealand with School Of Rock (GWB/RUG) covering the role of Rosalie Mullins and as a member of the ensemble.

Previous credits include The Wizard Of Oz (GFO/RUG) in which she played the role of Aunt Em and joined the ensemble as well as covering the Wicked Witch and Glinda.

The Sound Of Music (GFO/RUG) covering Baroness Schraeder and Sister Margaretta as well as joining the Ensemble. 

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (James Anthony Productions)  covering Christine Colgate and joining the ensemble.

 

The Full Monty- (StageArt) playing Georgie. 

 

Motherhood the Musical  (HIT Productions) playing Amy .
